This is a well-established specimen of Dinteranthus pole-evansii, offered as a naturally developed two-headed plant. Multi-headed examples of this species are uncommon, as splitting occurs slowly over many years, making plants of this form and maturity more desirable than standard single heads.

The plant displays the refined, understated colouring that makes Dinteranthus pole-evansii especially appealing to collectors. The bodies are soft grey-green to blue-grey in tone, often with a subtle matte or slightly powdery surface that gently diffuses the light. Fine surface markings and natural tonal variations add depth and character, becoming more pronounced with age.

The two heads form a compact, sculptural clump with a low profile, giving the plant a convincing stone-like appearance. The symmetry between the heads enhances its visual balance, while the smooth contours and crisp edges reflect its slow, deliberate growth. Mature plants such as this have a quiet, minimalist appeal that rewards close viewing rather than bold colour.

Dinteranthus pole-evansii is a slow-growing mesemb valued for its longevity, subtle beauty, and architectural form. Established, multi-headed plants are rarely available compared with seedlings or young plants, making this an excellent addition to a specialist mesemb or living-stone collection.

This plant has been grown in cultivation in a free-draining mineral substrate and has not been wild collected.
