This pot contains five Trichocereus peruvianus, or BlueTorch Cactus, each one grown from seed. Because they are seed-grown individuals rather than clones (cuttings), they have their own genetic differences and can cross-pollinate with each other once mature, which is a valuable trait for anyone interested in producing flowers and seed. The Peruvian Torch is admired for its bluish-green skin that can take on a silvery sheen in bright light, with tall, ribbed columns that give it a striking, architectural presence.
