A striking Trichocereus bridgesii ‘Blue Tornado’ cutting, offered as the exact specimen pictured. This is a particularly unusual and characterful cutting, displaying the distinctive blue-green colouring associated with the ‘Blue Tornado’ cultivar together with an exceptionally interesting growth form.
The cutting has a beautiful glaucous blue-green epidermis and prominent ribs, with long, contrasting golden spines emerging from well-defined areoles. What makes this individual especially eye-catching is its twisted and irregular rib development, creating a fascinating sculptural appearance that gives the cutting plenty of character.
The unusual growth is visible throughout the cutting, with the ribs gently twisting and changing in shape rather than maintaining a completely uniform form. Combined with the blue-green colouring and attractive spination, this makes it a particularly interesting specimen for a specialist Trichocereus collection.
This is a substantial individual cutting with excellent character and plenty of visual interest. The cut end is clearly visible in the photographs, and the cutting will be supplied as shown.
The exact plant pictured is the plant you will receive. Due to its distinctive growth and individual characteristics, this is a genuinely one-of-a-kind specimen rather than a generic representative of the cultivar.
