This is a large, mature specimen of Conophytum ernstii ssp. cerebellum, forming an impressive clump of over twenty heads. Plants of this size and age take many years to develop, making substantial clusters such as this increasingly uncommon in cultivation.

The heads are tightly packed and well proportioned, creating a dense, sculptural mound with a strong sense of age and stability. Each head contributes to the overall form, giving the plant a natural, cohesive appearance that is far more striking than younger or sparsely clumping specimens.

The colouring is characteristic of cerebellum, with soft grey-green to bluish tones and subtle surface textures that give the plant a refined, almost stone-like quality. Fine variations between individual heads add depth and visual interest, particularly when viewed up close, while the overall effect remains calm and understated rather than showy.

Conophytum ernstii ssp. cerebellum is highly regarded among collectors for its compact habit, longevity, and ability to form attractive, long-lived clumps. Large, multi-headed specimens are rarely offered compared with seedlings or small divisions, making this an excellent opportunity to acquire a true specimen plant suitable for a serious mesemb collection.
