Please note: The plant you will receive, will be the exact plant pictured.

A striking specimen of Ferocactus histrix, a highly distinctive and sought-after species appreciated by cactus collectors for its bold form and impressive spination.

This specimen has a strong, rounded body with clearly defined ribs and a beautiful deep green colour. The most striking feature is its impressive array of long, slender spines, which radiate from prominent woolly areoles. The spines display attractive golden, cream and reddish tones, creating a dramatic contrast against the green body.

As the plant matures, Ferocactus histrix develops an increasingly impressive architectural form and dense covering of spines. This specimen already has excellent character, with well-developed ribs and a particularly attractive arrangement of long, curved spines.

A fantastic addition to a specialist cactus collection, Ferocactus histrix is an excellent choice for collectors who appreciate strongly spined, architectural species with plenty of visual impact.

Caution: Toxic if eaten.
