RARE · UNIQUE · COLLECTABLE
A truly special opportunity to own a large, established, seed-grown Trichocereus pachanoi, carefully cultivated by us for approximately 7 years.
These are not commercial fast-grown plants or cuttings. They have been hard grown slowly and naturally, allowing them to develop strong, compact growth, substantial root systems and the individual character that can only come with years of cultivation.
Hard-grown means quality over speed. Rather than pushing the plants to grow as quickly as possible, they have been allowed to develop at their natural pace with careful management of water, nutrition and growing conditions. The result is strong structure, beautiful natural form and genuine age and provenance.
Being seed-grown rather than propagated from cuttings makes each specimen even more special. Each plant is a genetically unique individual, with its own growth characteristics and natural form. Genetically distinct plants can also be used in controlled cross-pollination, allowing collectors to produce their own unique seed-grown progeny.
After around seven years of cultivation, these are now impressive mature specimens and a wonderful addition to any serious cactus collection.
