"The plant you will receive, will be similiar to the plant featured in the pictures!"

Notocactus leninghausii, also known as the Golden Ball Cactus, is a striking and easy-to-grow species prized by cactus enthusiasts and collectors alike. Native to the grasslands of southern Brazil, this cactus is known for its columnar shape, soft golden spines, and dense, woolly crown. It makes a dramatic visual statement whether grown in pots or as part of a cactus arrangement.

This cactus can reach up to 3 feet in height over time, forming tall, cylindrical stems that are bright green and ribbed. The soft, golden-yellow spines create a glowing halo effect in sunlight, making it a standout among other cacti. Despite its spiny appearance, the spines are fine and hair-like, giving the plant a soft, fuzzy texture that adds to its ornamental appeal.

Notocactus leninghausii is also appreciated for its blooming potential. In the summer months, mature specimens often produce showy, lemon-yellow flowers from the top of the stem. These blooms are large, daisy-like, and add an extra splash of color to the plant's vibrant green-and-gold aesthetic. Flowering typically occurs in response to bright light and consistent, but careful, watering during the growing season.

Low maintenance and drought-tolerant, this cactus thrives in well-draining soil and prefers a sunny position with some protection from extreme heat. With minimal care, Notocactus leninghausii becomes a long-lived, sculptural feature in any plant collection.
